Trina opens the room to her dorm to leave only to find Spencer asleep at her door, having waited there all night. She cannot believe he slept here, noting he could have gotten in trouble with the RA. He says she wouldn’t return his calls or texts. She says perhaps she didn’t want to talk to him, and he should have respected her wishes. He says he sent cards, but she didn’t read them. He says they all said the same thing, he’s sorry and he was wrong. She asks what he was wrong about.

Spencer admits it was wrong to give her an ultimatum. Trina says he did, and it’s too late to take it back. However, she needs to know where his priorities are, with her, or Ace and Esme. He assures her that he cares nothing about Esme. She notes the fact he panicked at her moving out tells her that they have different priorities in this relationship. Trina can’t sit by the sidelines while he spends time with Esme, and she can’t be around her. Spencer says Ace and Esme are a package deal so what does she want? Trina says he’s never asked what her choice would be, and she chooses not to be a part of this dysfunctional relationship. She tells him that if he wants to be with Ace and Esme, he has to do it without her.
Spencer realizes he needs to let go, he’s not Ace’s father, he’s his brother. He realizes he needs to stop trying to control Esme and Ace as it’s not his place, and she is right. He says they’ll move into their place, and that’s probably what’s best for everyone. Trina can’t help but wonder if he’s just saying words, or does he believe them. He says he’s trying to get there, it may take a while, but he’s going to make her his only priority. He hopes there will be a place in her life for him.

Joss brings Adam to GH and tells Liz that her friend was nauseous and sweating this morning and she thinks he needs to see a doctor. Adam panics and says, “No!” He swears he’s fine, but Joss says they had to stop the exam as Adam couldn’t breathe and she brought him here on the TA’s insistence. Adam panics that he’s going to fail the exam, but she promises he won’t. Liz puts him in a wheelchair to see a doctor. Adam screams at Joss not to leave him.
Later, Liz runs into Terry and hands her some files. She asks about the lawsuit, but Terry can’t talk about it and she has to follow the rules to the letter, and though Finn is her friend, appearances matter here and she can’t be seen as showing favoritism.
Later, Liz lets Joss that Adam’s been cleared and it was a panic attack. She tells Joss she did well bringing him here, and that she’ll be a great doctor one day. Joss goes in to see Adam in the exam room, and he is sorry for blowing up at her. He says it’s all good now, but she says it’s not. She says he was clearly out of it, and he explains he just took too much of his perception to help him study. She realizes he’s taking speed, and she doesn’t understand why he’s doing this to himself. If pre-med is too much pressure, then he needs to find a new major. He says this is his dream, and it’s all he’s wanted since he was a kid. She asks if it is his dream or his parents?

Joss and Adam return to the dorms, and Joss tells him that they’ll take the make-up exam, and that he needs to try and give himself a break. He says he’ll try. He thanks her for everything.
Joss heads into her room and finds Trina and Spencer kissing. She guesses they made up, and she is glad something worked out this morning. Joss tells them about Adam’s panic attack which interrupted their test. She admits she’s really worried about Adam.

Finn comes to see Alexis at her office and needs help finding an attorney to save his career. He relays the details of the malpractice suit against him involving a patient with a tapeworm, only to later find out he had stage four cancer down the line. Alexis advises him to stay away from the GH attorneys as their goal is to protect the hospital, and they will throw him under the bus. Finn says Terry and Portia are his friends, but Alexis says the attorneys only want to win at any cost even if he becomes collateral damage. She asks him to think about how the other side will play this out. She says this family is grieving, they lost a member in the prime of his life, and what does he think the jury will believe? Finn says hopefully the truth, that he had nothing to do with this man’s death. She also notes they could believe he was overworked and missed the diagnosis, and the word cancer will trigger at least one of the jury members. She cautions him to find the right attorney, otherwise, his career will be over.
Alexis would normally recommend Diane, but she’s busy. She suggests he use Tracy and her lawyers, but he explains she’s in Amsterdam right now dealing with Luke’s affairs. Finn says Liz recommended Scott, but Alexis says he’s not the right fit for this case. She decides to try asking Diane. She calls up Diane, and she agrees to take the case.
Finn heads back to the hospital, and Liz can see he’s in better spirits. She asks if the lawsuit has been dropped. He says it hasn’t, but Alexis set him up with Diane Miller. Liz calls Diane the best.

Blaze and Brook Lynn head to the recording studio and Blaze is excited that the opportunity to work with and record a song for a big-time producer came up. Brook Lynn asks if she needs any support from her. Kristina arrives, and Blaze says her support just arrived. As Blaze records, Kristina finds the studio exciting, and Brook Lynn has missed the energy of the studio.
Blaze takes a break, and she thanks Kristina for distracting her from the butterflies in her stomach. She worries this song could bomb, but Kristina argues it could be a hit. Blaze says the market is so saturated today, and even if the song takes off, the money is in touring. Kristina asks what could be better than singing to a sold-out crowd. Blaze notes being with somebody, and touring is lonely. Kristina thinks having fans chant your name can never be lonely. She wishes the patrons at Charlie’s would chant her name. Blaze laughs. Brook Lynn walks over to find out what is going on. Blaze says Kristina was just cheering her up, and they were talking about loneliness. Blaze thinks Kristina knows something about loneliness, and Brook Lynn takes note of the dynamic between them.
Blaze gets back to recording, and Brook Lynn tells Kristina she has a good feeling about this song. She thinks it will be a hit and take Blaze’s career to the next level. Kristina gets a message and has to go because something is going on with her family but tells Brook Lynn good luck.
Blaze comes out of the booth and asks where Kristina went. Brook Lynn explains she had a family matter come up. Blaze hopes everything is okay. She gets back to recording her song, and Brook Lynn thinks the recording is golden.
Kristina arrives at her mom’s office and tells her about being at the recording studio with Blaze. Alexis asks if she heard from Sam. Kristina says Sam left her messages to call her, but her phone keeps going to voicemail. She assumed her mom knew what was going on. Alexis tells Kristina that Molly’s surrogate lost the baby.

At the Aurora office, Michael and Drew discuss the fact that Ned is back and how they proceed moving forward with him and ELQ. Suddenly, they learn Ned is on his way up to see them. Ned arrives and sees Drew. He thinks back to confronting Nina the night of his accident, and then says he promised to sit on some information he has but it can’t wait. He lets Drew know there is something he needs to know about the SEC charges. He brings up the fall at the pool, and he remembers what he was coming to tell Drew before he hit his head.
They are interrupted by a phone call that Michael has to take, and Ned learns Michael negotiated a major Australian deal for ELQ. Ned reminds them that he’s the president, but Drew and Michael point out he hasn’t been himself. Michael plans to go to Sydney next month to complete this deal, but Ned yells, “You have no right to do so!” Michael suggests he look over the deal as it is sound. Ned says he still had no right to take this on. Drew says Ned was Eddie, Valentin has been off dealing with his insane father, and he was in prison. Drew says Michael was the only one to make this happen so he should thank Michael. Ned says Michael took advantage of the situation like a shark.
Drew thinks it’s a good deal, and maybe he’s jealous that Michael did a better job than he could have. Ned warns him to stay out of ELQ business as all he is is a shareholder. Ned storms out, and Drew tells Michael that Ned is a loose cannon and they have to move on with the takeover and save ELQ.

At the Metro Court, Carly arrives and finds Nina on the phone placing various orders. Trish spots Carly and says there is a rumor going around that she might be coming back and asks if it’s true. Carly explains she is very happy at Kelly’s right now. Nina approaches Carly and asks if she’s here to discuss her offer.
Nina and Carly sit down, and Carly doesn’t understand why she made this offer. Is it because of Willow? Was she the incentive for her to sell, and notes that making peace with her helps Nina’s relationship with Willow. Nina says Willow is the reason, and she felt it would help heal various rifts. Carly says Willow said the same thing, and she appreciates the offer, but she has to pass. She wants the hotel back, but she isn’t financially able to make it happen. Carly gets a text, and Nina silently worries about what Michael will do to her. Carly tells Nina not to worry, Willow also knows she’s not accepting the offer and is okay. She tells Nina to take the win, she scored points with Willow and keeps her hotel.
On the next General Hospital: Carly asks Drew what he’s going to do. Cody tells someone, “I’m out!” Sasha appears and says, “Maybe not.” Curtis tells Jordan she’s the only one who can understand what she discovered. Nina asks Charlotte what she did to make Anna go. Anna yells at Valentin that he can’t be trusted. Sonny warns Cyrus that he’ll shut him down permanently.
