Sam stops over to see Carly, who invited her over. Sam just came from taking Scout to say goodbye to her father and she’s devastated as she’s losing her dad all over again. Carly wanted her to come over and get all her feelings out. Sam admits she’s angry and wishes Drew made a different choice. She says Drew deserves peace and happiness, but he’s sacrificing it again because… Carly finishes her statement and says, “Because of me.” Carly doesn’t blame her, and this is all on her. Sam believed that way at first but now knows she was only trying to help Drew.

Carly says she should have talked to a financial advisor, and she should have listened to Drew and Michael. Carly wants to fix this, but Sam says Drew wants to fix this for her. That speaks volumes of how much Drew cares about her. Sam knows they need Drew, but her family needs her too. Carly thanks her for understanding and offers her friend a cup of coffee. Sam gladly accepts it as she hasn’t had the chance to caffeine up today. They head to the kitchen, and Sam knocks over the SEC papers and sees them. Sam notes if she needs to talk about everything she’s lost, she’s here.

Carly admits in two years she’s lost a lot… her husband, Jason, Drew, her hotel, and now five million dollars. Sam is shocked by the amount and asks what she’ll do. Carly doesn’t know. She says what makes her angry is that she and Drew are in this position because of spite. Carly knows she’ll handle it, she doesn’t know how, but she will. Sam knows they are both self-reliant, but she’s learned it’s okay to ask for help and push pride aside. Carly says this is her mess and she’ll clean it up, and she’s risen from the ashes before. Sam knows she’ll think of something. Carly says thanks to her, she has an idea.

Drew visits Sonny before heading to Pentonville. He wanted to drop off Ned, or “Eddie’s,” favorite guitar, thinking it may help him remember. They talk about Ned, and Sonny assures him he has his eye on Ned, but Ned isn’t the only one. Sonny knows Drew could have flipped on him, but he didn’t. Drew says he and Carly would never flip on him, and this is his debt to pay. Sonny won’t forget that he protected him and Carly, and he has men in Pentonville who will keep their eyes on him. Drew appreciates that. Sonny says he can only go so far, so advises he keep his eyes open and chin up.

At the PCPD, Mac is filling in for Jordan temporarily as commissioner. Dante stops by, and Mac says something interesting crossed his desk he might be interested in seeing. The jewelers dropped the charges against Cody after a waiter came forward saying he found the bracelet in the dressing room and slipped it into the pocket of the jacket hanging above it. Mac feels guilty that he slipped Cody into cuffs when he would have liked to just have been his dad. Dante thinks about Cody admitting Mac was his father. Dante says he was on his way to see Cody and will give him the news. Mac would like to go with him.

At the hospital, Sasha is headed to see her doctor. She suddenly gets a text from the jewelers, who are dropping the charges against Cody. She thinks Gladys must know something about this given she doesn’t look surprised. Gladys admits the jewelers contacted her and told her apparently the bracelet clasp was faulty, and it was found by a waiter who put it in Cody’s pocket. Sasha is stunned and asks if she can now admit she was wrong about Cody. Gladys admits she was wrong about Cody, but he’s wrong about her, and she’s not a diabolical mother-in-law. Sasha never thought that but wishes Gladys would have told her. Gladys was going to after her appointment and hopes she can forgive her. Sasha says of course she does, but thinks she needs to apologize to Cody. Gladys hopes this doesn’t cause problems for her and Cody. Sasha says there is no me and Cody. Sasha heads in to see Dr. Monty.

Sasha has her appointment with her doctor, and she feels things are back on track. The doctor doesn’t want her to feel the need to prove herself to him, so he needs her to be honest. He can see she’s anxious and asks what’s on her mind. She admits she’s worried about supporting her friends, both at work and personally, and mending relationships she’s lost. He says there are many ways to wind down and de-stress, and recommends a mindfulness meditation app. He has something else and excuses himself. He soon returns with a mild sedative to help with her anxiety. She asks if it’s safe to take with her anti-depression pills and if it is habit-forming. He says the medications are often prescribed together, but admits it can be habit-forming. However, he will monitor her intake and he is confident she’s far enough into her recovery she can handle this.

In Willow’s room, Michael says Dr. Randolph is sending someone in with news. TJ arrives and has life-changing news for them, and is so happy Terry is letting him give it to them. He tells them that the transplant was a success. Michael and Willow embrace, and Michael asks if this means she’s in remission. TJ says not only that, but Willow can go home. Precautions will need to be taken at their home, but she can go home in a few hours.

Michael worries this isn’t a good idea, as they don’t have time to prepare and sterilize the house that quickly. TJ thinks the Quartermaine staff there can help with that, and Willow just wants to hold her babies again. TJ understands Michael’s concerns, and basically, her immune system is like baby Amelia’s, she has almost none. Willow understands and says it sounds like she’ll still be in isolation even at home. TJ says she will, and she’ll have to only allow visitors from a small circle of friends and family. He says a nurse will be by to talk everything over with them, and with her medications.

TJ leaves them, and Michael and Willow celebrate. Willow thinks they’ll get there happily ever after all. Later Michael lets Willow know everything will be prepared by the time they get home. They bring up the visitor list, and Willow admits aside from Sasha and Chase, she’d like to add someone else to the list. TJ returns and tells them she’s free to go but remember, no people outside their limited bubble. TJ departs, and Michael asks if TJ is who wanted to put on the list. She does, but the person she also wants to add, well he may not like. He tells her whoever she wants, and she admits it’s Nina.

Gladys pays Sonny a visit and asks if he talked to Sasha about the guardianship. He did and understands why she was worried. However, he thinks Sasha is ready to handle herself, and if the doctor and the judge agree, they both need to stay out of her way. Gladys still worries about Sasha buckling under the weight of it all, but Sonny says it’s not up to her anymore! He sees her out and yells, “Give it up!”

In the hall, Gladys gets a call from Dr. Monty. He says he did as they discussed, Sasha is on a new prescription medicine, and it’s only a matter of time. He notes if she’s having second thoughts he can make an excuse to take her off it. Gladys wants to move forward, as it’s the only move she has left.

At the Metro Court Pool, Scott wants Cody to sign the paternity affidavit but warns him that the WSB will likely investigate his background once they hit them with the lawsuit for losing his inheritance. Cody gets nervous when he hears this, and Scott asks if it will be a problem. Cody says he’s no boy scout. Scott reminds him of the grand larceny charges still pending against him, but Cody feels they won’t be a problem. He says all it cost him was a new friend. Scott says he’ll have a lot of new rich friends once he signs this affidavit.

Scott believes this affidavit along with his birth certificate will convince the WSB of who he is, unless they want to dig up old Taub’s body for a DNA test. Scott even recommends pushing them to dig him up is a pot of gold, and the emotional trauma could tack on another ten million to their lawsuit. Cody insists they not dig up Leopold.

As Cody signs the papers, Mac and Dante arrive and tell him the news the charges against him have been dropped. They notice he doesn’t seem surprised, and he says he was innocent all along. Mac explains a witness stepped forward and asks to speak with Cody in private.

Cody and Mac step aside, and Dante asks Scott what he and Cody are up to. Dante saw him pushing Cody into signing something and is worried Scott is trying to scam Cody somehow. He doesn’t want to see Cody end up in trouble. Scott promises this is above board and isn’t a scam. Scott drops a hint that this is about a civil lawsuit, and Cody will be fine.

Mac tells Cody he’s glad the charges were dropped, and he’s sorry it had to be him who arrested him. He is also glad to see he and Scott are on good terms but advises Cody maybe not to fully trust Scott. Cody says Scott is his legal counsel, and that’s it. Mac apologizes for prying and says maybe Cody’s glad they aren’t related as he won’t be bothering him so much. However, Mac tells him that he really does want the best for Cody. Cody admits he likes him looking out for him. Mac suggests he not look at him as a cop, but as a friend. Cody admits he already does.

Drew reports to Pentonville, where he’s searched, turns over his belongings, is fingerprinted and fitted with his jumpsuit before being photographed. Drew is put in a cell and finds Cyrus walking freely through the halls. He stops by Drew’s cell and introduces himself as a brother in Christ. Cyrus explains he has a group that meets twice a week in the library, and he thinks they could benefit from including him. Cyrus knows about his fascinating story and explains it’s easy for faith to wither behind bars. He thinks Drew will find comfort in the bible, and he thinks he’ll be an inspiration to the members of the group.

Drew asks what his name is, and Cyrus says to just call him Brother Cy. Drew replies, “As in Cyrus, Cyrus Renault? Laura’s brother, the drug trafficker, the one who tried to kill Britt?” Cyrus admits his past is lamentable. Drew warns Cyrus, “God help you if you try and approach me again.” Cyrus says he is one for forgiveness and second chances, and pushes him to take the bible and look it over. He says the lessons inside will be useful. Drew takes it, and Cyrus walks off.

Drew opens the book, and looks through it, but finds it hollowed out and there is a makeshift shiv in it.
