Cyrus Learns the Shooter Called Stone Is [Spoiler] — Plus, Sonny Finally Removes His Wedding Band (2024)

Sam meets Liz at the hospital, and thanks her for arranging for Danny to volunteer here while he’s grounded. Liz can see Sam is worried something deeper is going on with Danny. Sam is but doesn’t know what normal teenage behavior is. Danny shows up and asks if they can go home now. He left his coat upstairs, and says he can get it tomorrow, but Sam orders him to go get it now. Liz lets Sam know this seems like normal teenage behavior to her.

Liz and Sam take a walk, and Sam admits Danny’s never been grounded before, and he’s gotten so quiet lately. Liz says Jason was also a man of few words. Sam says Danny reminds her more of Jason every day. She worries about Danny’s quietness, and she doesn’t want Danny to see her as the enemy when she holds him accountable for his actions.

Sam notes Liz has three boys so how does she talk to them? Liz says each one is different, and each has their own language. Liz says a shared experience, like doing something you like together, it helps them open up. Sam thanks her for the advice. Danny returns, and Liz thanks Danny for his help today. Sam and Danny head off, and he moans, “Time to go back to lockup.” She suggests they go somewhere else.

Sam takes Danny to the footbridge, which was a special place for her and his dad. She feels close to him here and thought Danny would too. She says Jason wanted to teach him how to ride, and 16 isn’t far away. However, she knows it’s not like learning from your dad. She tells her son that he can talk about his dad any time. Danny admits it feels weird, and Sam says if it is because of Dante then he shouldn’t feel weird, Dante doesn’t want to replace his dad.

Danny confesses he’s been missing his dad, and his friend Wyatt’s dad came home after a two-year overseas tour. They used to talk about their dads being gone all the time, but now Wyatt’s dad is back, and he feels terrible for wishing he wasn’t. Sam says that’s normal, and Wyatt was someone he could relate to. Sam tells him that he can talk to her, but he pulls away and says he’s good. She sees he’s not. Danny admits she and Uncle Drew were so sad when Dad died, and he didn’t want to add to that burden. Sam says he is no burden, and he can talk to her any time. They head out.

TJ, Molly and Kristina have an ultrasound, and they’ve made it through the first trimester. Dr. Navarro asks if they want to know the sex, and Kristina blurts out, “Yes!” Molly and TJ say they actually don’t want to know, and Kristina apologizes and was just caught up in the moment and of course, this is their decision. Molly asks to hear the heartbeat, and they all listen to it. Kristina is touched when she hears it and takes Molly’s hand.

Later in the hall, the doctor gives TJ and Molly an envelope with the sex of the baby if they should want to find out. Kristina joins them and is a bit quiet, and Molly asks if everything is okay. She says it is. They invite her to join them for dinner, but Kristina says she has plans. Molly assumes they are with Blaze. Kristina walks off, and both TJ and Molly note that was weird.

Molly thinks it was just Kristina being Kristina, and being all in. Molly says Kristina is invested in the life inside her, which is what they want out of a surrogate. TJ looks concerned. Molly talks him down, and TJ asks if she’s sure they don’t want to find out the sex. Molly doesn’t and says they aren’t pink or blue people anyway. TJ agrees, their child will be whoever they are.

Later, Molly lets TJ know with the first trimester over, they don’t have to keep the baby a secret anymore. They kiss, and TJ tells Molly she’s given him everything he’s ever wanted.

At the Metro Court, Gregory runs into Tracy at the bar. He’s having dinner with his sons, and he invites her to join them. She doesn’t want to impose, but he says they’re going to be family soon enough.

Tracy joins the men, and as Finn and Chase talk about Violet, Gregory drops his fork. Tracy notices and hands another to him. Finn and Chase’s talk turns to the wedding plans, and Finn is stunned to learn the rehearsal dinner is at Cony Island. Finn thinks Violet will end up with a sugar rush and then crash.

Chase thanks Tracy for all her help in the wedding planning, and Gregory says been so invested she’s even been collecting RSVPs for Lois. Gregory reveals he’s bringing Alexis as his plus one, and Finn asks who Tracy is bringing.

Later, Finn checks on Violet, and Chase heads to the restroom. Gregory noticed Tracy got up to powder her nose when Finn asked about her plus one. He asks if she really stopped by The Invader to inquire about his plus one, or something else. She says if she had something else to say it slipped her mind. Gregory guesses it wasn’t important then. Later, Gregory takes care of the bill, and Chase insists on giving Tracy a ride home when she says she’s taking a rideshare. Tracy admits tonight was fun, and Gregory agrees it was.

Kristina arrives at Blaze’s Metro Court room, and Blaze can see something is wrong with Kristina. Kristina explains they had an OB appointment tonight, and everything is well with the baby. However, when she saw the baby on the monitor and heard the heartbeat, it was magic. Seeing and hearing that little blob… Kristina admits for the first time it felt like the baby was hers.

Blaze gets it, and that baby is a part of her body, so of course she feels like she’s a part of the baby. Kristina loves this baby for Molly and TJ, but Blaze says this is her family too. Kristina says it’s her niece or nephew. Blaze assures her everything she’s feeling is normal and healthy. Kristina tells her that she always knows what to say. Blaze says it comes easy with her, and they kiss.

They get passionate, and Blaze asks Kristina to stay with her. Soon they begin to undress, make their way to the bed, and make love. Afterward, they cuddle together.

Sonny returns home and Ava watches as he smashes a glass across the room. Ava asks if he got anything out of Selina’s guy. Sonny realize she listened in on him and Selina earlier. Sonny tells her the guy coming for him calls himself Stone. He thinks someone is using Stone’s memory to rattle him. Ava says that’s despicable, and she knows how it feels. Esme used Kiki’s memory to torture her.

Ava admits losing Spencer has brought her grief for Kiki back to the surface. Sonny gets it, and now he’s got this faceless enemy using Stone’s name. Sonny says Stone represents all the people he couldn’t save. Ava says he can’t be responsible for everyone, it’s not possible. Still, he blames himself for his father, Lily, and Morgan.

Sonny reveals they are using Selina’s man to set a trap, leading the gunman to a meeting between him and Selina. Then he’ll go after this Stone person. Ava knows he’s suffered a lot of betrayals lately, and he lists Carly, Michael and Nina. He says he can’t trust anyone. Ava tells him that he can’t go through life alone, and he has her. Sonny comments, “Who would have guessed?” Ava heads to her room for the night, and Sonny removes his wedding ring.

At Pentonville, Anna threatens to go over John’s head to his superiors if he interferes and says it’s as if he wants to stop O’Neil from telling them who he’s working for. Anna is alerted by an officer that she’ll want to hear this, as O’Neil tells Cyrus that nowhere is safe in here for him, and the cops don’t know who they are up against. Cyrus asks who this person is who is worse than spending a lifetime in prison.

O’Neil begins to explain it started a year ago, when he was contacted by a man… Suddenly Heather shows up and calls Cyrus a scamming charlatan, and tells O’Neil not to trust Cyrus as he’s a liar. Heather accuses Cyrus of being partly to blame for Esme’s death, and tells O’Neil his sister is the mayor so he might as well be blabbing to the mayor herself. Heather attacks Cyrus, and in the other room where Anna and the others are listening, the audio cuts out.

John, Annd and Dante burst in where Heather, Cyrus and O’Neil are. Cyrus is whispering to O’Neil. The guards grab Heather, and Cyrus calls her a lost soul and asks them not to hurt her. John orders O’Neil to be returned to his cell as Heather is dragged off. Dante asks Cyrus what the hell that was? Anna asks what he found out? Cyrus says his talk with O’Neil was very enlightening.

John asks how he got information out of O’Neil? Cyrus says when the guards were distracted by Heather, he got to talk to O’Neil. Cyrus says O’Neil was too terrified to give up a name, and he’s convinced this person can get to him anywhere, even in Pentonville. He said the man is untouchable as he’s a ghost,and that the person they are trying to find is dead.

On the next General Hospital: Spinelli is relieved Maxie’s not avoiding him. In bed, Blaze tells Kristina it’s time she return the favor. In Sonny’s gym, Drew tells Curtis perhaps it’s time he does the same thing for her. Carly meets with John and tells him that he’s wasting his time. In Ava’s gallery, a stunned Nina asks Ava, “You have a relationship with Sonny now?” Sonny has a job for someone.
